Dawnsmen

The story behind Dawnsmen unfolded back in early 2017 and it has since become one of our most successful projects. It is a shining example of modern barn style living created by remodelling an existing concrete block building.

What was once a cold, tired and uninspiring bungalow has now become a glowing Oak Frame house. Our clients remit was simple – transform this into something special, a comfortable space where up to 8 people can be comfortably entertained and all living spaces made open plan incorporating stunning vaulted Oak Frames.

The solution to this brief was to add two modest oak frame extensions, a larger glazed indoor space to the side and a further gable extension providing covered outside space that is usable year round.

To really bring the outside in through the main Oak Frame, applied glazing was used which functions to modern day building control standards but retains that barn like feel.
